I think its safe to say many people around the world are addicted to Face Book (FB) and Twitter. I hate to admit it but I'm one of them. The crazy thing is, life was fine without it, but now that we have it, I can't imagine a world without it. We have all become so addicted to the social network, that there are few people who just pick the phone and talk anymore. I remember when Yahoo IM was the big thing. Then Tagged, Friendster, High5, My Space, and now Face Book and Twitter are taking over.Let's face it My Space is pretty much dead, lol.
The human connection is fading. People do almost everything through Face Book. Even business' advertise on FB. Employers have been known to check employee FB pages and sometimes even fire people for what they may have on their FB pages. This social network phenomenon is sweeping, not just the nation but the world.
When we meet someone we like or even someone we hate, the first thing we do is try and find their FB page. People dont exchange numbers anymore, they exchange FB information.
Its really used as a huge personal's website. Its a way to find as much sex as we can find. People we crushed on in high school, the cute server at the restaurant, or even that cutie you may have seen at the gym. Yep, Face Book is mostly used to find penis and vagina. What! Too much for you? I'm sorry FB is only a place to to find rainbows and candy cover chocolates :) Is that better? :-D
Twitter is the same way. Its pretty much a contest to see who can get the most followers. It sucks because the ppl with the most followers havent got shit to say.
If FB ever shut down, i bet many people would feel empty. The world would implode. I bet Face Book is powering the world. Everyone who logs in actually helps power the city they live in. Helps the world go round. People will have this new found time to spend doing things that actually matter. Wouldn't that be something? Lol
Well i have to get going, have to check my Face Book page and post an advertisement about this blog. Oooo i hope i got poked lol
